Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Sustainable urban development has become a critical global priority, as cities and towns face challenges related to rapid urbanization, environmental degradation, and resource management. In Damaturu Local Government, Yobe State, print media has played a vital role in advocating for sustainable urban development by addressing issues such as waste management, housing, and urban planning.
